Categories of Personal Data Collected: When you register for our local classes via our online check-in forms or complete a physical paper intake sheet at any of our teaching locations, we process the following information:

Emergency Contact Data: Name, relationship, and telephone number of a designated contact person (collected strictly for your personal safety during physical dance instruction).

Billing and Point-of-Sale (POS) Transactions: First and last name, billing address, and transaction history.

Payment Card Security: For in-person card transactions swiped or entered at our teaching locations, we do not store your credit card or bank account data locally. All physical card payments are securely handled and encrypted via PCI-compliant mobile readers or payment terminals tied directly to our third-party processors (such as Stripe or Square).

Health and Fitness Disclosures: Voluntarily provided health indicators or physical limitations disclosed to instructors on our liability waivers to ensure safe physical instruction and appropriate dance modifications.

Data Retention: Financial, transaction, and invoice data are retained securely for a minimum of 7 years to comply with United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax regulations and federal accounting laws.

MINORS AND CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

While our primary marketing and digital course platforms are intended for adults, Salsabor Tropical, Inc. offers specialized in-person children and teen group classes.
