Whether you are a beginner salsa dancer or an advanced experience dancer, this night is all about having a good time, and dancing the night away to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Chacha, and more..

Time:
8:45pm to 9:15pm
supervised practice session - suggested to everyone who is taking classes and wants to practice what they are learning in class, in this session you will be supervised to make sure you are on time with the music, you are leading or following and executing the stpes on time with the music, and you can also ask questions if you have any questions on anything that you are learning in class.
9:15pm to 10:00pm Chacha Workshop ..
10:00pm till 2:30am The party starts, open dancing, open for everyone, time to dance and have a good time with DJ RAUL "FLAVA" playing the best of Salsa, Mambo, Chacha, Bachata, Merengue, and more...

Admission: $10

Note- Borinqueya has a full bar, they will be selling Food, water, beer, etc.
So, gather your salsa friends and bring them with you to dance the night away and have some fun at the Latin Dance Social & Cha-cha Workshop at Borinqueya.

why do we have Dance Socials?

Well, besides dancing Salsa at local Night clubs, the Salsa Dance social is a special night to mingle and meet other salseros that are learning to Dance Salsa, or already know how to dance. You can get to network with others who share the same love of Latin music and dancing. In addition, if you are learning to dance salsa or you are an advanced and experienced dancer, the Salsa Dance Social is a great night to practice your new moves or polish the ones you already know. You can dance and practice and practice and you don't have to feel under pressure if you screw up, because people come to the social to practice, dance and have a good time. IT'S ALL ABOUT HAVING FUN. Remember when it comes to the Salsa Socials the key word is FUN AND DA NCING... LOTS OF DANCING...AND LOTS OF FUN !!!!!!! There should be no sense of pressure or tension. You just go there, let yourself go, dance, enjoy yourself and have fun (plain and simple).
